Quoting Mr. Gibeau:

For EA’s creative teams, this transition comes as no surprise. We’ve been investing and innovating on new technology for months. Console partners who have seen our early work agree, EA’s next-gen software is nothing short of astonishing.

At a GameStop company meeting earlier this week, we gave 500 store managers a sneak peak at Battlefield 4...

“Got to see Battlefield 4 today and all I can say is wow. Thanks EA for the sneak peek. Can’t wait for you all to see it,” he said via the retailer’s official Twitter account. The tweet is still up which suggests that EA is comfortable with him divulging the information.

No fair… Not only that but Battlefield’s own Twitter feed also spilled some of the beans, with DICE’s feed stating a mysterious “BE ADVISED” whereas EA’s Origin posted a a refreshingly blatant, “BF4 is coming!”

Petition to add bots to Battlefield 4

Interested in signing a petition to EA asking them to add bots to Battlefield 4? As of today, there are 503 supporters. Being that EA is still developing Battlefield 4, this would be a great opportunity to have your voices heard. Unite.

Quote from the petition:

We want the good, old Battlefield times back. Battlefield 3 was a flop for lot of gamers. Many want AI in offline Mod to play on the online maps. There are good reasons: 1) They make multiplayer accessible for persons who don’t play online (yes, many of these people still exist) 2) They allow a player to practice all of the game modes at any time with a full compliment of combatants. 3) They don’t curse, cheat, complain, or leave the match when loosing. 4) They allow for a full game without any lag, slowdown, or drop...

Rumor: Battlefield 4 Beta and Release Window Announced

IGN’s Mitch Dyer tweeted out that Battlefield 4, despite what fans were expecting, will becoming out next year as the beta will be released this fall. Mitch followed up by saying EA will release ‘it’ before March 2014. This contradicts the “confirmed” October 23, 2013 release date popping up all over the internet, as well as BF4Blog. One thing is for sure, it’s extremely early for predictions as to the release date of Battlefield 4 being that there are active DLCs still being released for Battlefield 3.

Nevertheless, here is Mitch’s quote. We invite you to take it with a heaping tablespoon of salt.
